About We Rock the Spectrum McAllen
Aurelia and Vladimir Hery are parents of two children with Autism and ADHD. As parents of special needs children, they saw the need in their community to open a We Rock the Spectrum.
The Hery’s are a multicultural family, with Aurelia being Mexican-American and Vladimir being Franco-Swiss. After getting married in Washington DC, they moved to South Texas where they have been raising their family for the past 5 years. Following the diagnosis of their daughter over a year ago and with the recent diagnosis of their son, they have been involved with many local organizations that help bring awareness to autism.
Upon discovering We Rock the Spectrum, their mission of inclusion resonated so much that they knew that they had to bring it to their community!

- INDOOR PLAY STRUCTURE – FOR CLIMBING AND INCREASING PLAYGROUND SKILLS
- SENSORY-BASED TOYS AND EQUIPMENT– FOR IMPROVED AUDITORY PROCESSING AND FINE MOTOR SKILLS
- FINE MOTOR AND ARTS AND CRAFTS AREA – FOR IMPROVED HAND-EYE COORDINATION
